It was a full-fledged Young Money reunion in Toronto last night, after rapper Lil Wayne surprised fans at his concert with a performance from none other than Toronto's very own, Drake. 

Lil Wayne was in town on Wednesday night at History for his Welcome To The Carter Tour, and fans lost their minds when Drake quietly took to the stage to open the highly-anticipated show.

The 2,500-capacity venue was treated to the concert of a lifetime, with Drizzy performing songs spanning his whole discography, from his heartbreak anthem Marvin's Room, to upbeat tracks like HYFR, The Motto, Energy, and SICKO MODE. 

"I just want to say I love my family very much, I love my son very much, and I love my friends very much, but I have to tell you, that this guy on stage is literally the most important person in my life. I promise you," Drake told the crowd.

"I want you to know that there was a time where I would go all across the world trying to get sh*t heard and trying to get people to understand that Toronto is a place that could generate music," he continued. 

"This is the only guy that believed in me. Everybody turned me down."

Lil Wayne, who is widely credit for discovering Drake, signed the Toronto-born rapper to Young Money in 2009. 

It's not the first time the two rappers have reunited onstage this year, either. Drake brought Lil Wayne during his co-headling set at Dreamville Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina, at the beginning of April. 

Of course, Drizzy is embarking on his very own It's All A Blur tour soon, which is set to kick off on June 16 in New Orleans. Although the details for the Toronto date are yet to be announced, we hope Lil Wayne will return the favour and pop out in Toronto once more.
