Music You Might Want to See

What better way to stave off the bone-chilling cold than stuck in a small, sweaty box with loud music destroying your hearing? I can't think of a better way either! Here's my picks for bands playing around town in the next week or so (I'll be covering most of them as well):

Wednesday, January 17th. Akroid @ Clinton's. Post-hardcore a la Four Hundred Years. First show, but will be worth it.

Friday, January 19th. The Illuminati @ The Silver Dollar. Southern-fried Rock n' Roll baby. With soul!

Friday, January 19th. To The Lions @ Clinton's. I saw these guys play once, and it brought be back to a time when Strife was still a good band. Throwin' down with Kill Decible.

Saturday, January 20th. Priestess @ The Horseshoe. If you're still amped from The Illuminati show the night before, go see Priestess. Take everything cool about 70's rock and glue it to Motorhead. Yeah.
