Here are my picks for the top breakfast pizza in Toronto.

Mangia Bevi
The Italian eatery on King Street East is home to a dozen variations of breakfast pizza. Wake-up to an egg-topped pie loaded with mozzarella, potatoes, pancetta, rosemary, red onions and parmigiano ($18), or satisfy your sweet tooth with a Nutella pizza ($9) with optional bananas (+$2) or fresh fruit (+$3).

The Good Son
This charming West Queen West restaurant serves breakfast pizza ($17) on its weekend brunch menu. This wood-fired pie features prosciutto with mushrooms, potatoes and a sunny side up egg.

Lil Baci
Satisfy cravings for bacon and eggs with the Festa ($18) on the brunch menu at Lil Baci locations in Leslieville and also at Yonge and Eglinton. This pizza-breakfast mashup is topped with a classic combination of morning foods including bacon (in this case pancetta), sausage, cheese, potatoes and a pair of sunny side up eggs.

Cresta
Work up an appetite at the St. Lawrence farmers' market then head to this Italian restaurant for the uovo pizza ($19) topped with pancetta, mixed mushrooms, onions on a red pepper pumpkin seed sauce finished with asiago cheese and poached eggs. For an even more indulgent start to the day, try the Funghi Pizza ($24) topped with fontina, arugula, truffle oil and poached eggs.

Gusto 101
This restaurant at King and Portland is blessed with an all-weather roof top patio that serves as the perfect setting to soak in some sun over brunch. The Pizza alla Uova ($15) is a tomato-sauced pie topped with mozzarella, speck and a baked egg.
