Toronto's newest pizzeria isn't what it seems
If you've walked by the Drake Hotel lately, you might have spotted signage announcing Toronto's newest pizza joint. And while this incoming restaurant might sound tantalizing, don't ever expect it to open.
That's because it's a promo for SiriusXM Canada's Top Comic. The competition, which is on now, pits standup comedians against one another and asks the public to vote for their favourite performers.
The finalists will get to perform during JFL42 (that's the Toronto edition of the Just For Laughs comedy festival) at SiriusXM Top Comic Comedy Gala Finale on September 29th. A panel of judges with crown one winner who'll get $25,000.
