Milati Speed Dating

I went down to Sassafraz at Yorkville to the Milati Speed Dating Event for South Asians 24 - 30 and 27 - 35.

Everyone seemed to be having fun and were open to chat and meet new people. The event was run very well by organizer Manny Sandhu, who was a very friendly and down to earth. Event coordinator Karen was also very amicable and kept things moving along real well.

Although I did not participate in the event I got to talk to some women in between breaks and what-not. I was trying to have as fun a time as possible and was joking around so much that I think I came across as pretty childish to some of the females.

Woman #1: "Oh you're so cute, you'd be great for my little sister."
Woman #2: "Are you old enough to drink?"
Woman #3: "You're such a kid!"
Woman #4: "Is your mommy waiting up for you?"

I had a great time and met some cool people.

I also had a chance to sit down for a couple of minutes and chat with organizer Manny Sandhu.
